Andy's Story

After qualifying to represent the England Masters Half Marathon team aged 50 I was delighted and extremely grateful to receive funding from the CSSC Elite Competitors Fund to assist with the costs of attending. The funding was extremely useful as a big contribution towards kit, travel, hotel etc.
The event itself was a fantastic experience. To get the opportunity to wear your country's colours at this age was a dream come true and I finished in 1hour and 19 minutes on what was quite a tough course at Chester.
