A Fond Farewell to Ginger Parker

06th Oct 2020

Ginger Parker is a passionate Archery organiser, involved for over 16 years as a CSSC volunteer.  There is nothing Ginger doesn’t know about archery, having run the Black and Gold Archery Club at Cheltenham and organising the South West qualifier event for over 10 years. Ginger volunteered to step in to run the qualifiers on a temporary basis, but he has run it so well he continued. His events have been very well attended each year, and a good number of the participants are highly skilled in the various categories. Ginger has always been very involved with South West Region events and has shown his support in many ways, he is a very good wood carver and has even made a couple of the trophies for his events.

During his tenure as organiser he has managed to recruit many new CSSC members, igniting his passion for archery in others and sharing his expertise selflessly. Quite simply, Ginger has been absolutely pivotal to the success and prominence of Archery in the CSSC South West Region.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Ginger for his wonderful contribution to CSSC over the years, and wish him every happiness with all future endeavours, it has been a great pleasure to have worked with you.
