Leeds | Quarry House Angling Club Open Day Saturday 24 July
Fishing is one of the largest participative sports in the UK. It's an activity in the open air away from the television, which provides a focus and interest. Why not find out what you have been missing, or perhaps you’ve dabbled before and would like to get back into it?
Open day
The Quarry House Angling Club has arranged its thirteenth open day at Moor Monkton Pools near York for you to do just that. You, your partner or any member of your family are cordially invited to join club members and try your hand at the art of coarse fishing – accompanied children are especially welcome.
Members of the club will be in attendance between 10am to 3.00pm to advise you, so just come down and spend as long as you like. All licences, tackle and bait will be supplied – please wear suitable footwear; if possible bring something to sit on and a towel or wipes would be useful!
Refreshments and a raffle will be available with all proceeds going to the fabulous Candlelighters - fighting children’s cancer in Leeds.
