Welcome to our new CSSC Midlands Volunteers
Secretary - Charlotte Whittle
"I work in the Department for Education in apprenticeships strategy – a varied role with changing priorities! I work in Coventry and live in Kidderminster, having moved back to the West Midlands from Sheffield where I lived for four years. I have held numerous roles both within and outside of the Civil Service, including volunteer positions, and I hope that I can bring some of that experience with me to support the midlands. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into my role as midlands secretary, supporting the team and area as well as making sure that members are getting the best experience they can. I enjoy music, cooking, motorsport and generally trying new things – so may see you around at some of the events!" Charlotte.
Diversity and Equality Champion - Louise Robinson
"My passion for helping others has exceeded over the years putting people at the heart of all that I achieve. I currently work as a Probation Officer for the Probation Service, acting as a champion for diversity and equality for service users as well as colleagues. My volunteer work with CSSC and the Probation service as a Diversity Champion and Deputy Chair of the Equity Council means I have connections throughout the Midlands regarding supporting people with diverse needs and protected characteristics. Additionally, I come from a retail management background, meaning I have the strong everyday skills to deal with difficult and time-restrictive matters that support people in need. I strive for the best in all that I do and I hope my role here with CSSC will enable me to execute these skills in assisting those who need support and an active voice". Louise.
