ASICS London 10k with The Charity of Civil Servants
Campaign: ASICS London 10k run
Event Date: 25 July 2021
Location: Westminster
Registration fee: £20
Sponsorship level: £200
The Charity has been taking part in the London 10k since 2006, with 10 places for civil servants to create a running team for the ASICS London 10k! The registration fee is £20 per runner.
The main call to action is for runners to fundraise a minimum of £200 using a Just Giving page. You will also be encouraged to create a team and this can be with colleagues or family/ friends, they don’t have to be a civil servant to run. If a team is created, then the fundraising total is combined and this can be done easily on Just Giving.
Support is offered to all runners, every step of the way whether you have recently discovered running during Lockdown or if you've been an avid runner for number of years and looking for a new personal fitness goal for 2021, with a pre-race training plan, help with the creation of a Just Giving page and provide tips and advice to help boost their fundraising.
Once registered and marketing consent obtained, you will receive a welcome email with a link to register your place with the event organisers, LimeLight and instructions on setting up your fundraising page. This integrated email journey will continue throughout the event. You will also be supplied with a branded running vest and, on the day supporters from The Charity for Civil Servants will be there to cheer you on. There will be a room in the Civil Service Club (just off Whitehall – the finishing line) where runners can leave their belongings safely and freshen up afterwards with a shower ready to receive their certificate to go with their medal (provided by race organizers).
Furthermore, and as an added bonus, as civil servants you also get a discount on rooms at The Civil Service Club too, so if you would like to turn the event into a mini break to see London you can do!
This is a truly fabulous experience with a fast-paced, flat route taking runners through the best of London's iconic and historical landmarks such as Big Ben, the London Eye and River Thames. This 10k race certainly does have it all with a great street party atmosphere, live music, DJ's and entertainment at every kilometre, it really is a 'run for all'. View the 2021 route map.
