The Men's Six Nations Rugby Tournament
The men’s tournament starts with Wales taking on Ireland at the Principality Stadium on Saturday at 2.15 pm and England taking on Scotland at 4.45 pm at Twickenham.
Title holders, France, will have some stiff competition this year from all home nations, most notably Wales, who are looking to supplant their credentials in the tournament over England, having both 39 titles each under their belts.
Championing Rugby since 1923
As massive fans of Rugby for over 100 years we continually bring you the very best events, competitions and tournaments around the country for you to watch, play and enjoy.
Most recently we hosted the Civil Service Rugby Match at Cardiff Arms Park, back in May, raising over £1,000 for the wooden spoon charity. It was a spectacular event with Wales again victorious over England 51-26. This ensures England will be keen to put things right during this year’s match.
We’ll keep you updated on how to attend, closer to the time.
Get involved
As a full-on contact sport, in fact, you might reclassify rugby as an impact sport, we know it’s not for everyone. But over recent years there has been a huge increase in the popularity of less impactful versions, like walking and touch versions of the game, suitable for all ages and abilities.
If you’re interested in joining a local club or arranging for tickets to one of the hundreds of big matches in leagues up and down the country, check out ‘Get Active’, type ‘Rugby’ into the search, or contact your local association to see what going on near you.
Keep your eyes peeled for tickets to rugby events coming soon as well as family-friendly matches and competitions near you.
Good luck to all the home nations
We’re sure this year’s Six nations will be a spectacular event and we’re really looking forward to bringing home the new trophy, which was coincidentally introduced back in 2015, and replaced the original trophy used when it was the five nations.
